About Us
We support College of Health (COH) faculty in their research, scholarly and creative efforts through internal funding of meritorious proposals, assisting with navigation and utilization of ISU and external research-related resources, and fostering collaboration with the COH Innovation, Collaboration, and Action Network (ICAN) Center, Idaho Center for Health Research (ICHR), and other groups on and off campus. We want to help you most effectively engage in your research, scholarly and creative efforts so your work will result in positive impacts for your profession, state, region and the world.
We support new and continuing faculty with development activities, guidance and mentoring with regard to planning of and applications for promotion, promotion & tenure and annual evaluations.

The College of Health Research Grant is provided by the ISU College of Health (COH) to support research, scholarly, or creative activities of new or seasoned COH faculty. Preference is given to faculty with new or shifting lines of research/creative activity with the potential to lay the groundwork for future applications for external funding and/or innovative development resources. This grant mechanism is intended to encourage new faculty and existing faculty who are refocusing their research programs, to request seed funding for research, scholarly, or creative/innovative activities that have potential to result in impactful outcomes and lay the groundwork for extramural research/innovative development funding applications.
